The Ministry of Education and Science issued Resolution No. 31531, dated July 25, 2018, recognizing the curriculum of the School of the Future Program, which offers trilingual education (Spanish, Guarani, and English) for Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, and Secondary Education. It also released Resolution No. 31530, approving the list of 23 institutions that will implement the program with a double-shift schedule and some subjects (Math, Science, Word Building, and Social Studies) taught entirely in English.

"Within the framework of the 2013-2018 Educational Agenda, we promote actions aimed at ensuring the quality of learning through the incorporation of pedagogical innovations in terms of paradigms, approaches and procedures that tend to transform traditional educational practices," explained Minister Raúl Aguilera , arguing the reason for this teaching modality.

Referring to the School of the Future Program, the head of the MEC mentioned that "currently educational institutions are conceived as intelligent, inclusive, critical organizations, open to the implementation of improvement plans and innovations that favor pedagogical autonomy, and we are on that path," he stated.

We recall that the implementation of this educational model began in 1992 through collaborative work between local educational communities, the Ministry of Education and Science (MEC), and ACE School of Tomorrow. Since then, the program has grown, covering levels from preschool through secondary education.

The School of the Future program in Paraguay operates on a dual curriculum system, combining the Paraguayan National Curriculum with the American Curriculum. The core principles of the School of the Future program fully align with the principles of the Educational Reform, making this program a highly viable option for developing the future leaders of this nation, which is moving towards technological advancement and globalization.
