Independent Homeschool
ACE also offers support and materials for independent homeschooling families . Whether you are transitioning from a different curriculum or would like to start homeschooling for the first time, ACE's comprehensive program from Kindergarten through 12th Grade (3rd year of Middle School) can help your homeschool succeed.
It is very important to know the local legislation of the Departments of Education or the Ministry of Education of your country or city, regarding the processes and legalization of homeschooling.
The School of Tomorrow Program in Paraguay can be applied in both conventional national, private and subsidized schools according to Resolution of the Ministry of Education and Sciences No. 31,530 and No. 31,531 .
The homeschool system can be adopted alongside the official education system, complementing regular studies. It does not validate or replace the national curriculum of MERCOSUR countries.
Education laws require students to complete the core competencies of the National Curriculum. In these countries, the School of Tomorrow curriculum is recognized as a supplementary program , but it does NOT replace the National Curriculum required by the Ministry of Education.
The company "School of Tomorrow Paraguay©" does NOT issue Academic Records, Certificates and Diplomas for families who apply the Program independently.
To obtain documentation (Certificates, Diplomas, etc.), students in the Homeschool System must register with LCA - Lighthouse Christian Academy , which is the accrediting agency authorized to issue American Diplomas (Honors, College Preparatory, General, and Vocational), academic records, and certificates.
Learning centers for homeschooling:
Select an area in your home to designate as the Learning Center where the student can work with minimal distractions. Wherever you choose, ensure it has good lighting. This area could be a corner of a room, a living room, or a bedroom. Be sure to provide an individual workspace for each student. You will find more tips in the Home Educator's Manual .
